MIRACLE FRUIT

It is a small red berries about a size of gumdrop that is originally found in the tropical West Africa. It is not originally sweet itself but contains an active **GLYCOPROTEIN MOLECULE with some MIRACULIN that once hit your tongue, all sour taste foods you have eaten will amazingly taste sweet afterwards.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Eating the fleshy part of the fruit bonds the molecule to the tongue’s taste buds causes sweetening effect that lasts 30 minutes up to 2 hours, and can be washed with water.

Henna Gaijin

hahaahaha.. in the past two days that I was absent, the thing that really made myself hook into are the quizzes in BLOGTHING..again courtesy of toinky that I found this site. And then, I saw a “JAPAN” word so of course I took the test. I don’t know why an I so obsessed with Japanese and Korean cultures. << hindi kaya magkakatuluyan talaga kami ni Terada?? bwahahaha >> And so I took the test “What is your Japanese Subculture”… and it says…

” You’re not Japanese, but you wish you were! You can use chopsticks with your eyes closed, and you’ve memorized hundreds of Kanji. You even answer your phone “moshi moshi.”While the number of anime videos you’ve seen is way higher than the number of dates you’ve been on, there’s hope.Play the sexy, mysterious gaijin, and you’ll have plenty of Japanese meat. “

hahahaha.. this is really awesome! hahahaha… again hahahaha… this really suits the reality. wala lang.. I’m just so delighted with the results of my answer. OMG I thought pa naman baka totoo yung mga feeling ko na maybe I’m a Japanese in my past life, pero malay mo naman totoo din. But for my life now, I’m just a Henna Gaijin… so totoo lang talagang trying hard akong maging Japanese.. bwahahaaha..

should you quit your job?
—-> i took this test as i was browsing toinky’s page… i found this simple test in one of her blogs. i think this should be put in my
“THOUGHTS” and it says…

YOUR JOB DISSATISFACTION LEVEL is 37%
Your job is not bad, but it’s probably not a long term thing. You’re just not happy enough to stick around for too long…And there’s little that can change how you feel. Start looking around for other options, but only quit for something really good!

Nonito “the Filipino Flash” Donaire

donaire.jpg

Nonito “the Filipino Flash” Donaire is now the new IBF Flyweight World Champion, defeated Vic “The Raging Bull” Darchinyan by TKO on round 5. Despite of being the underdog in this fight, he still made Darchinyan knockout on the fifth round - the first ever lose of Vic Darchinyan and probably the most humiliating lose of “the raging bull”. Donaire now being called “the little pacman”, who’s also a native of General Santos City really have impressive punches that made him won, aside from that, is his motivation of vengeance for his older Glenn who lost with Darchinyan last year.

Edukasyon sa ‘Pinas

Opening of classes here in the Philippines has just begun. Only my younger brother (the youngest in us four siblings) has left for schooling. He’s on his first year for college degree in some university here in Davao.

As we were making inquiries about the courses and of course the tuition fee in various universities, I can really say that it is getting more and more costly to bring your child in school. During my school days, my tuition fee has cut into half since my mom and dad prepared for my educational plan..so what if I didn’t have any educational plan at all to think that we we’re three of us in college level that time. Of course, you have to include the daily allowances and expenses for projects & THESIS!! Not to mention other extra curricular activities in school such as recollection/retreat, intramurals, educational tour, P.E. night/graduation ball (oh the hell i care with all those parties that you are ought to wear formal dress!)

At this time, I’m already complaining how expensive education is, then how much more if I already have my own kid to send to school??! OMG! Maybe that time education is already a luxury. Did you not know that education is a right, and not a privilege? Why can’t our country give free education even until high school, or just even until primary level? Maybe it’s high time that the senate should do something about this…actually dapat noon pa noh! naman!!

miss my friends…. missin’ the good old days :(

i really miss my friends… all those old stuff we used to do… our nonsense hang-out and chismisan.. and of course all the climbs we enjoyed a lot!

epol.jpgat the peak of PUTING BATO at Samal Island.

this was one of my memorable climb. We didn’t sleep the whole night because we were with DRB (disenteng rugby boys) at the camp site. One of my friend who used to know them said that aside from being DRB.. they also get mountaineer/camper’s stuff outside the tent when are asleep… OMG!!! i can never forget the face of Malou looking for weapons… forks, flashlight, and even mineral bottle will serve as a weapon for her bwahahaha…

At EPOL training.jpg

One of my favorite climb because we were complete here..and above all Micmic has stayed with us overnight… FOR THE FIRST TIME!!! grabeh!! makahilak jud mi sa kalipay kay once in a lifetime lang jud na mahitabo! Anyways, you could see there at our back are not refugees..they were our aspirants. This was our aspirants’ training at Epol. Lingaw pud mi dre, of course like all of our climbs. Kami man hinoon ang mag-training pero kami man hinoon ang gipang-kapuy mu-mata ug sayo bwahahaha…

Bubbles…. on-board!

barko.JPG

Yesterday is quite a pressured day for me. Kuya Ben took me with him at the Wharf to conduct boarding formalities for our vessel. He just informed me 2 days ago, and i’m really excited to go there. You know..seeing the arrival of the ship and everything, it’s quite fun for me hehehe… Well, as the boarding formalities starte, I was really damn nervous and to the point that i can really feel my fingers shaking like as if i’m so, so, so super pasmado! grabeh! Medyo nakaka-irita lang talaga ung ibang Customs officials like they were looking at me as if, i’m going to do crazy stuff on board… helloooo?!??!?!?! i can’t count na kung ilang beses akong naka-akyat sa barko, and i even had boarding and clearing formalities..kakaloka!!! Anyways, maybe at some point i can justify them ‘coz i’m the only girl there noh.. but then… hellloooo?!!?!??! mukha ba akong akyat barko!??!!?????? etong katawan kong ‘to?! my d@mn sexy, gorgeous body that could die for!!! c’mon!!! bwhahahahaha… and there was this officer from quarantine chuva department told me “maau gani kay namayat na ka” helloooo!??!??!! the hell you care with my stuff?! it’s none of your d*mn business kaya noh!!

Anyways, enough about those things.. this is supposed to be a happy blog. After the boarding formalities, and we’re done with our business at the Wharf, we are supposed to be going at the office but then kuya ben is so hungry na, so made fast at TAPS to eat breakfast… este lunch na pala yun. We just kinda delay to email the arrival condition to deal first our hungry stomach. After eating, we decided to send the email to nearby internet cafe instead of going back to the office.. and juzko!!! What i really hate in some internet cafes is that they have MICROSOFT OFFICE, instead they are only using WORD DOCUMENT and that another OFFICE CHUVA PROGRAM.. naloka tlaga ako ‘coz our principal at Japan could not open our attachments. ‘Kse nga ibang version microsoft excel yung sa kanila, kaya yun nag-email kanina ung big boss namin sa Japan (who happens to be my sweetheart bwahahaha) na hindi nga daw nila ma-open ung attachments namin. kaya paki-usap lang sa mga internet cafe!!!! pwede pag butang ug microsoft office sa inyong mga pc kay porbida!!! ambot lang!

PHILIPPINES vs. KOREA

flag.jpg  vs.  korean-flag.jpg

LIVE in ESPN was the game of Philippines vs. Korea last night for Jones’ Cup Basketball Tournament. Well, our beloved Philippine team did not fail us! They won over the Korean players reaching the score 88 over 84. Asi Taulava really made a great job, and flaunt his excellent feat, even Korean girls are cheering on him as he made his impressive dunk. It’s so uplifting whenever I saw Philippine team, especially basketball on ESPN… I mean, it is such a rare chance that you would be able to see your “idols” on ESPN and much more they won in the game. It is just too bad for me that their match is my most favorite and loved country, Korea…hayyy!!! WHAT A HEARTACHE!!! However, I’m so glad that one of the Purefoods team (my team hehehe) was there, but then depressing too ‘coz James Yap wasn’t there. Isn’t he suppose to be on the Philippine team?!?! I wonder what happened… Anyways, it was a good fight… it’s not a boring game, well i don’t know maybe i just didn’t get bored because of some cute players there hahahaha!! oh by the way, Anthony Suntay was one of the English commentators along with Mr. ????, o di ba bonnga talaga ang mga pinoy kagabi! . :D ;)
